At age 19 Chris Rempel started his journey as an entrepreneur via his skateboard manufacturing company called “CR Longboards” (short for Chris Rempel Longboards).
He later went on to a much larger “playing field” – internet marketing. Starting with what he knew best, he decided to build a site based around longboards, called Longboard Directory.
Using a unique approach to marketing, and leveraging his current contacts by trading free listings in exchange for cross-promotion, the site quickly escalated to become one of the top 3 or 4 sites regarding this topic.
These would be Chris’s first JV’s (Joint Ventures) so to speak… He would go on to develop a variety of other sites and online projects. Some were successful, while others were disastrous.
Along the way, he indirectly became a consultant to various companies as a result of a few of his other successful niche websites. While this provided a substantial “pay raise”, it still wasn’t his primary goal as an entrepreneur – because consulting was still just building someone else’s business.

Simon Coulson climbed the corporate ladder with BT PLC for 14 years before quitting the city life in December 2003. He started a series of internet businesses. In less than 6 years Simon has generated over £6 million pounds. The first £2 million were from the spare room in his house! Simon has made made his fortune in niche markets as diverse as Bulgaria Property, Bonsai Trees, Plumbing and Philosophy. All of which by his own admission he knows NOTHING about!
Simon’s business now has sales of over £1.5million a year from over 100 money producing websites – many of them are just a single page!
Simon has also become an established public speaker on Internet Marketing and has spoken around the world to audiences of up to 7,000 including most recently at Londons o2 arena – where he also performed with his band!
After mentoring some friends to start their own successful internet businessess, the first of which has now generated 1.5M itself, Simon decided to roll out a coaching program to a wider audience and launched the Internet Business School in 2007. This organisation has trained over 500 entrpreneurs.
Simon has an MBA from University of Kent and C.Eng in Software Engineering.
