1. When choosing your target market in the plethora of industries online, it’s really important that you niche down. In other words if you like beauty, choose to focus on beauty for the face. Or even more niche than that, lipsticks, or eyeshadows used in india. Do you get my drift?
2. Go for something you’re passionate about or ‘fanatical’ stuff, or hobbies. Check out what’s trending on the market. Pick your micro niche with a great demand and you’ve started well.
3. Now, you first need to get your Domain Name. This should be related to your niche, keep it nice and short and try to avoid dashes eg sausages-for-you.com
4. Domain names are less than $10.00 anything over and you’re wasting money, try namecheap.com or godaddy. Look around, there are loads on the market.
5. Now when it comes to hosting, I recommend hostgator, that’s what I use and they have a great reputation If you have any queries, they’re online help is fantastic and they will help to resolve that query on the spot!.
6. For your blogging, use Wordpress. It’s free and can be learnt very quickly. There are also 100’s of free templates and themes and plugins which you can use. Nowadays you don’t need to know html. If you’re looking to do affiliate marketing check out fastincomesystems4u.
7. Now, it’s crucial and I cant emphasize it enough it is is vital as an internet marketing newbie to build a list. This is the lifeblood of every successful marketer. The Relationship that you build with your list is Gold. Separate your prospect list from your buyer list, know the ones who will keep buying from you. As it’s averaged out that one name on your list represents $1.00. So do the math.
”To be or not to be’…Well not quite the question…but close enough! You see you could be the person contemplating the subject of the above. To help you on your decision, let’s consider the great ‘article find’ below.
(BTW do remember to share your opinions with us and our readers, comments, as you know, always appreciated!)
“The “Double opt-in vs Single opt-in” argument is as old as my grandma’s radio. Some say it’s better to use Single opt-in because often only about 50% of people confirm, which means you get half of the leads you actually generate.
Others agree that Double opt-in is a smart move in a long run since response rates are much higher and there’s no way to get in trouble for SPAM, since the prospect has to double-confirm that he wants to be on your list.
During a recent list building event, Ryan Deiss shared an insight on the issue. He said that he always uses single opt-in, because at the end of the day-he makes more money that way. The young guru says that by driving more “instant” traffic to his offers-he is able to get more “customer” signups which are far more responsive than the regular “I’ll download your stuff for free” peeps.
Today, I got to thinking about the different internet business model types …and so I found this great little article on this topic…maybe it’ll have you thinking too….
There are many different methods of making an online income. In reality, they are all very similar to the business models you see in the offline world. You can sell goods and services, you can produce products for wholesale distribution, you can sell information, you can sell tools to help people in their own business model, you can sell advertising, or you can provide consulting services.
Do you see a common theme in all of these models? That’s right—to have a viable business, you have to literally provide some kind of a good or service that adds value to someone or something, either online or offline.
I think that when people think about going into business offline, they look for a need in their community and try to fill it. Online, they tend to think, OK, what can I do to make a lot of money? There is a huge difference between the two. Online, I think people really believe that if they put up a web site and sell something, the money will just come in. It is simply not an accurate thought, but I think that just about everybody has thought it at one time or another.
So to create an income online, you must meet a need, just like you would in the offline world. You meet that need by producing, developing, distributing, or brokering a product or service. That is just about it. You will never earn long-term viable income from schemes and scams, no more than a bank robber will earn a long-term viable income robbing banks.
Here are some of the basic online business models you can find on the web…

Meet Shaqir Hussyin, asian, 20 years of age and a university drop out! Since the tender age of 15 Shaqir Hussyin had an ebay business until June 2009. The bottom fell out of it after his account was closed down!
He started to look for business opportunities, bought every course available and then his money ran out. He was broke! His dad at the time thought he was running an illegally run pyramid scheme! Shaqir, then, like so many successful entrepreneurs, got his act together. He got himself a mentor and changed his life.
He is now an award winning marketer and has been successfully marketing online for the last year.
Shaqir Hussyin and Jani G,another up and rising young internet star, spoke on stage, for the first time at the Social Media Millionaire Summit Event 2010. Below you can find his short video pre-interview with Mark Anastasi.
Jani G , 25 years of age was born in Singapore andraised in London. A university drop-out he worked various jobs, which included Tesco, a paper round, a waitor in a restaurat and sales assistant, but yet underlying all that was the heartbeat of an entrepreneur.
In fact, during his time at university, he had already demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit, by setting up a burger stand and to many he was commonly know as the ‘burger boy’.
At age 20 he started making money online via ebay, buying goods from China and selling them on. It was in the the third year of university that he decided to drop out so that he could pursue full time online marketing.
For the last 4 years he has bought many online courses and today is known for his skills as a ‘listubuilder’ ’super affiliate’ ‘creator of online products, ‘marketing consultant’ and mentor.
Jani G and Shaqir Hussyinanother up and rising young internet star, spoke on stage, for the first time at the Social Media Millionaire Summit Event 2010.
In the last 6 months he has fulfilled part of his dreams of travelling to far flung places like Mexico and Thailand. The dream continues…
So for anyone who know’s me I’ve been a die-hard at the Social Media Millionaire Summit Event. Met so many faces and so many new faces and I have seriously been having a blast!
So, it’s Saturday night and I’ve just come back from the event. I specifically attended to listen to Jani G ( far left) and Shaqir Hussyin (right) speak and I was not disappointed.
What I love about these young, up and coming, whiz internet marketers is their humbleness. It was the first time for these two young guys on stage and I was blown away at their success achieved in a few short months. They certainly know the formula to fortunes! But what I found particularly enchanting about the two is the way they they kept it real and their sincereness in wanting to ‘give back’.
It wasn’t the most polished slick presentation but who frickin’ cares when the content delivered was so damb sexy!
If you were at the Social Media Millionaire Summit Event this weekend, let’s have your comments!
What speakers did you enjoy and why? …Did they leave you feeling sexy….? LOL
We appreciate all feedback!
PS Respect to Mark Anastasi for letting the young and upcoming on the stage – he gets big props for that!
I know! I’ve been promoting this event like crazy!…but it’s such a brilliant event that I don’t want any of you guys to miss out!
I have nothing to gain, monetary wise, that is! Simply your gain, is my gain. Go ahead, go along, you wont regret it and then let me have your feedback. See you there!
PS By the way it’s FREE – take a friend along and get a FREE money generating site as a bonus!
Alex Jeffreys, this welsh ladhas been marketing online for quite a while now and I’ve had the privilege of being coached by him. He himself was coached by Mike Filsaime –one of the top Internet Marketers Around.
In 2004 Alex Jeffreys quit his job at the tender age of 23, to pursue his vision of building an online empire. Along the way he learnt by trial and error and hit the same bumps in the road as any newbie does.
In 2007 he changed his way of life by following and implementing a few simple steps. Those steps would snowball him to success and now many of the big dogs of internet marketing are watching him!
Alex has a reputation of way over delivering in relation to the price of his coaching programs. He goes well over time, by hours sometimes, on the live training webinars. Then keeps adding more content!
He’s been called the “Triple Threat Affiliate” because he figured out an efficient way to get 3 times the sales out of his mailing lists. When he would promote an affiliate product that some of the big dogs were also promoting, they noticed him when he was able to equal their sales numbers from a much smaller list”
